So, I have a confession to make.
I LOVE WHOLE FOODS! I mean, really, who doesn’t?!
They sell delicious food, they have EVERYTHING (buffalo meat and truffle-infused cheddar cheese?), and their staff is extraordinarily knowledgable.
There’s only one problem.
They’re SO DANG EXPENSIVE! I drop $100+ when I go and that lasts maybe 3 meals.
And then it struck me.
ACT tutoring can be A LOT like Whole Foods.
You hear all these great reports (our average ACT score is a 27), you read all this great prep material (we provide all ours for free), and the staff is friendly and knowledgable (all our tutors scored a 30 or higher on their ACT).
But, for many parents, despite the substantial benefits from a great ACT score, they are not able to afford high-quality ACT tutoring.
Until now.
Launch Academy’s Small Group (SG) Tutoring Class
This new initiative combines the best of both worlds. The groups are small enough so that no student falls through cracks and the curriculum is customizable, but it’s also large enough to create an energy and comradery among the students.
We currently have two SG ACT Prep courses: Level I and Level II (We’re super creative). Each course is 4-weeks long and meets once a week on Saturday from 10am-1pm (3 hours). Below you’ll find a breakdown of each level and what’s included:
Level I SG ACT Prep:
- 12 Hours of ACT Tutoring (Normally $349+ with membership)
- Includes The Real ACT Prep Book and all applicable worksheets ($30+ value)
- Weekly Homework Assignments
- Unlimited Access to our College and Career Services
- Focus on all 4 areas of the ACT with emphasis on:
- Mathematics Tips and Tricks
- Review of Major Mathematics Concepts tested on the ACT
- Review of Major Grammar Rules Tested on the ACT
- How to underline efficiently for the Reading Section
- Review of how to use graphs and logic on the Science Section
- Techniques for Speed Reading for the Reading Section
- Test-Taking and Answer-Elimination Techniques
Level II SG ACT Prep:
- Builds upon concepts taught in Level I SG ACT Prep
- 12 Hours of ACT Tutoring (Normally $349+ with membership)
- The Elite 36 ACT Prep Book and all applicable worksheets ($30+ value)
- Weekly Homework Assignments
- Unlimited Access to our College and Career Services
- Focus on all 4 areas of the ACT with emphasis on:
- Review of Advanced Mathematics Concepts tested on the ACT
- How to find the purpose and essential details in a passage, as related to the English section
- How to know which details to watch for in the Reading Section
- Further Review of using graphs and logic on the Science Section
- Speed Reading Practice for the Reading Section
- Time for Group-specific Q&As for specific concepts
Now, as you just saw, this Small Group program is VERY LIMITED –
each group is only 10 students.
